Ryan Willson
Ryan joined Storm Capital Partners in 2023. Ryan has spent nearly thirty years launching, building, and growing investment firms. He specializes in fundraising and has raised over $6 billion for boutique investment firms. Prior to Storm, Ryan was the CEO of Creighton AI (“CAI”) a machine learning quantitative hedge fund. Ryan raised the working capital for CAI in 2020 pre-fund launch, and then raised the seed capital to launch the CAI Global Equity Market Neutral Fund in January 2021. When Ryan left in February of 2022, CAI had $185m AUM. Prior to CAI, Ryan spent seventeen years as the Head of Business Development and CEO of Lateef Investment Management. He grew Lateef from $300 million to over $6 billion in AUM and Ryan left following the sale of the firm in 2017. Ryan started his career in financial services in San Francisco with Morgan Stanley and Merrill Lynch. Ryan earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in Communication Arts and Sciences from the University of Southern California. Ryan holds Series 7 and 63 licenses.
